Hi, I'm Maria.

Maria is a wife, mom, grandmother, friend and U.S. Army Veteran (Airborne!). She was diagnosed with Signet Ring Gastric Cancer in November 2016. In order to prevent the cancer from spreading, she had her entire stomach, lymph nodes and Lower Esophageal Sphincter (LES) removed in December 2016. She continues to battle the numerous and unforeseen effects of the Gastric Cancer, while coping with the additional challenges of living with Multiple Sclerosis. Here, she hopes to share her story with you and content with those who may be experiencing similar struggles.
